UK Smaller Companies

Update 9th February 2012: Smaller companies have outperformed larger companies over the last year mostly on the back of favourable valuations and increasing merger and acquisition activity.

However, with the ongoing sovereign debt concerns and a full scale banking crisis a possibility these are not favourable conditions for smaller companies as lending conditions could tighten. If you sort the table by ‘One year cumulative value’ and order by ‘Best Performing’ you can glance along the row of top performers to see their performance over various periods. What we are looking for is consistency of performance.
